North-county homes here lean on us for older-home HVAC work: furnace repairs in aging farmhouses, duct upgrades for homes that never had balanced airflow, and the supplemental-heating questions that come with older construction. Newer builds out this way keep us busy with maintenance and warranty work.
Older homes reward patient diagnosis. Before recommending equipment, we measure what the ducts are actually doing — because in homes like Evergreen's, the airflow problems are usually decades old and fixable at a fraction of replacement cost. When equipment does need replacing, correct sizing for an old farmhouse is a calculation, not a guess.
We also handle the supplements: wood-stove clearances near returns, propane furnace tune-ups, and thermostat strategies that make hybrid systems make sense. North-county homeowners have enough weather to fight; their HVAC shouldn't be another one.
An Evergreen farmhouse's back bedrooms had never warmed properly in anyone's memory. We measured airflow at every register, found the original trunk line undersized and a crushed run under the floor, and rebuilt the worst section while sealing the rest. The back bedrooms warmed for the first time — the family said it felt like getting square footage back.
Climate & Risk Awareness in Evergreen
Four-season Inner Bluegrass climate: humid 80s-degree summers, hard freezes in January, Kentucky River flooding, ice storms, and tornado exposure.
We plan every Evergreen installation around Kentucky's realities: river and creek flood zones, ice storms, humid summers, and radon levels that deserve a conversation.

Why Evergreen Residents Choose HVAC Frankfort KY
Evergreen homeowners choose us because older north-county homes reward measurement. We test static pressure and register airflow before quoting anything — decades-old duct problems masquerade as 'bad furnace' complaints, and we've converted more than one replacement quote into a repair and a plan.

Trusted Across Franklin County
"Our 2004 heat pump died in the first July heat wave. They had a tech out same day, gave us three options in writing with real numbers, and the new variable-speed system was running by Friday. The upstairs is cool for the first time since we bought the house."
Sarah M.
Woodlake · Heat Pump Replacement · July 2025
"Furnace quit at 11 PM on a 20-degree night with two kids in the house. A real person answered the phone, coached us through protecting the pipes, and had the ignitor replaced before midnight. Can't ask for more than that."
David R.
South Frankfort · Furnace Repair · January 2025
"I was terrified anyone putting AC in my 1880s rowhouse would destroy the plaster. Their crew threaded everything through existing chases — you honestly cannot find the system. The house stays cool and the historic board never had to hear about it."
Brenda T.
Downtown Historic District · Ductless Mini-Split · June 2025

Evergreen HVAC FAQs
Local answers for Evergreen homeowners — no generic boilerplate, just what we hear at kitchen tables here.
Usually the ducts, not the furnace — undersized trunks, crushed runs, leaking returns. We measured, rebuilt, and sealed our way to warm back bedrooms in homes just like yours.
Depends on the failure and the exchanger — we test, show you the numbers, and give honest repair-versus-replace math for equipment that's earned its age.
